I rarely watch movie trailers nowadays. If I know I want to see a film I want to see as little footage from it as possible prior to seeing the whole thing. However I knew so little about ‘Cloud Atlas’ (I haven’t even read the blurb of the book) that curiosity got the better of me here.
And, wow, this is quite possible the most stunning trailer I’ve seen in some time. I’m very excited about seeing this now.
Despite this being fairly lengthy for a trailer, it doesn’t tell a great deal in terms of plot but the imagery and ambition of this can really be admired.
So literally as I was writing this the video was taken down from various sites, an official version should be up shortly.
